Chris Whitehouse Reduces Culpability in Major Drugs Case

Chris Whitehouse has successfully concluded a seven-day Newton hearing at Ipswich Crown Court, achieving a remarkable outcome for his client in a serious drugs conspiracy case.
Originally charged with involvement in a category 1 Class A drugs conspiracy (5kg), Chris advanced detailed submissions grounded in R v Khan [2013] EWCA Crim 800. The judge accepted his arguments, reducing the client’s culpability to category 3 (street dealing)—resulting in immediate release.
