Jack Jennett secured a significant result after the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence against his client, who had been caught attempting to bring 37 grams of Class A drugs—Cocaine and Heroin—along with mobile phones and chargers into HMP Swaleside.
The defence was advanced under section 45 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Jack is highly experienced in raising such defences and it is an area in which he has built a strong track record.
Jack is regularly instructed in drug-related matters of all scales, from street-level supply to complex conspiracies, and is known for his meticulous preparation and fearless advocacy.
He was instructed by Pratik Patel of Imran Khan and Partners, whose assistance was invaluable throughout the proceedings.
