Ioana Nedelcu makes legal submissions that force prosecution to offer no evidence in high value drugs conspiracy for Defendant of good character
Ioana’s client was alleged to be the lead player in a conspiracy to supply class A drugs alongside two others who pleaded guilty. The Prosecution case depended on telephone evidence which by the time of the initial trial the prosecution did not provide to the defence expert. Following successful oppositions to the application to extend custody time limits the Defendant was released on bail.
The defence served a cell site expert’s report and in advance of the trial, Ioana served a detailed skeleton argument addressing the exclusion of the Prosecution evidence and the inevitable consequence of the exclusion would be there was no case against her client.
The case was listed several occasions and the Prosecution were not in the position to address the skeleton argument and on the 13th June 2025 conceded Ioana’s application and offered no evidence. Ioana’s client remains of good character.
Ioana was ably instructed by Adam Hussain from Hussain’s solicitors who worked tirelessly in obtaining the best result for his client.
