Ioana Nedelcu secures swift acquittals in a 14 day trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court alleging two counts of rape, ABH and controlling and coercive. Today, after a majority verdict, the jury swiftly acquitted of the final allegation, one of non fatal strangulation. The case involved lengthy legal arguments, including an application of abuse of process and an application to exclude the Complainant’s first video recorded interview.
