Sachin Rajput secures acquittals on all charges after a two-week high-profile joint-enterprise trial at Leicester Crown Court.
Sachin's client was one of four charged on a seventeen-count indictment. These proceedings concerned armed robbery, blackmail and ABH. Sachin's client also faced a suffocation Count. The prosecution alleged that several victims were robbed at a party with a knife being produced by a co-defendant to aid the robbery and blackmail. The blackmailing continued thereafter along with serious assaults involving weapons.
Sachin's client was successful in having one charge dismissed on a submission of no case to answer. He was also successful in having duress left to the jury in relation to one of the many Counts they had to consider for him.In relation to Sachin's client, the jury delivered not-guilty verdicts on all Counts.
