R v I

Massive Drug importation: the largest drug importation by air into the UK. The Siniloa Cartell, Mexico formerly headed by El Chapo Gusman – the richest drug lord in the world (currently on trial in New York, USA for murder, drug importation etc) were said to be responsible. Evoked much national press interest.

R v G & Others

Massive fraudulent production & selling of postage stamps on industrial scale. Stamps appear to have been printed in China & shipped for sale in UK. Stamps selling for half of face value & then onto unsuspecting customers potentially at full value - which highlights the staggering profitability from this type of criminal enterprise. Due to importance & complexity of the case, together with the sheer quantity of digital material, including covert surveillance, computer, mobile phone & counsel was granted junior counsel to assist.

R v J & Others 

Fraud/Sham marriage/money laundering: A fraudulent business facilitating Lithuanian females to marry Asian males to enable UK status. Jameldeen as the supplier of the Asian males was joint head of the operation. Topical in a period where Brexit demonstrated the UK fear of immigration of unknown individuals. Jameldeen fled to Sri Lanka days before trial. Numerous legal arguments including whether having fled he should be entitled to full protection of not speculating why he was not present, especially when in active cut-throat with all other parties.

R v G & Others 

Professional & sophisticated multi-million pound & multi-handed conspiracy to burgle industrial storage units. Case Value: £1m+

Represented the Defendant in interlocutory matters at the High Court Mobil North Sea & Anor -v- PJ Pipe & Vale Co. Ltd

A contractual claim for approximately £1m - a proactive defence, involving complicated expert evidence (both metallurgical and quantum) resulted in a favourable settlement prior to trial and a reconciled working relationship between the parties.

Represented the Appellant at the Employment Appeal Tribunal in Porter -v- L.B.Camden

The case centred on the Respondent's knowledge of disability under the Disability Discrimination Act.
