Farringdon Chambers recognised in the Legal 500 2027
Farringdon Chambers is delighted to announce its continued recognition in The Legal 500 2027, featured in both Crime and Fraud and white-collar crime in the London Bar rankings.
The Legal 500 describes the set as "very much up and coming in the ranks of criminal sets", and comments from instructing solicitors and other market sources point to the qualities we pride ourselves on. One described chambers as "always bending backwards to help", while another praised the strength and depth of the set, the lack of weak links, and counsel being available when they say they will be. Reliability, approachability and a commitment to client care sit at the heart of how we work, and it is rewarding to see that recognised.
Thank you to our clients
These rankings are built on feedback from the solicitors and clients who instruct us, and professional colleagues who lead, co-defend, and oppose us, and we are grateful to everyone who took the time to contribute to the research. Your trust, and your candour about how we can improve, shape everything we do.
Recognised individuals
Congratulations to the following members, who are individually recognised:
- Leading Silks: Ian Henderson KC and Claire Davies KC
- 2024 Silks: Martin McCarthy KC (also recognised in Fraud and white-collar crime)
- Leading Juniors: Graham Arnold (also recognised in Fraud and white-collar crime), Ioana Nedelcu, Molly Pinkus, Ronnie Bergenthal, Verity Fowler-Rouault, Shelley Griffith, Greg Krieger, Soraya Lawrence, Jack Jennett and Christopher Whitehouse
Soraya Lawrence retired from chambers in September, and it is a fitting tribute to her standing among instructing solicitors that she is recognised in this year's rankings. We wish her every happiness in retirement. You can read our announcement of her retirement here.
Congratulations to all, and thank you to our members and clerks for the hard work behind these results.
